What does Holistic practices means

Holistic comes from the word Holism, “the theory that parts of a whole are in intimate interconnection, such that they cannot exist independently of the whole, or cannot be understood without reference to the whole, which is thus regarded as greater than the sum of its parts.” (in Oxford Dictionaries). Classes and therapies at “The Empower Yourself Project” have this same concept as a basic and unmovable foundation.

 

When this concept is applied to human beings it means that you must take care of yourself (and others) as a WHOLE, integrating Body, Mind, Emotions and Soul, rather than just addressing separate parts of being. Holistic classes and therapies refer to approaches that treat and/or teach the person in an integral and complete way. Like we do here at The Empower Yourself Project! :)

 

For us you are more than a body, more than a mind, you are your whole self, with all parts interconnected to each other and impossible to separate, thus having to be treated as a whole.

 

We believe that Balance can only be achieved when all parts of being are in perfect harmony. To achieve this we must take care of all parts of being, not just one or the other. We know that a healthy body, mind, emotional system and soul create a happy, content, joyous and balanced person. So all our classes and therapies take care of YOUR WHOLE SELF so to bring every part of yourself and your life into Balance!

 

For the past 15 years I have been studying different methods and techniques that when put together, like I do in my practice, take into account body, mind, emotions and soul making all we do at “The Empower Yourself Project” Holistic in nature.

This is why so many students start with classes or with one of the therapies and afterwards complement their wellbeing plans with some of the other therapies/classes that we offer at the Holistic Center. They know that when they balance their whole self, real transformation occurs. And they know it because they experience and feel it!

 

This is the reason why at our Center all healing sessions, courses and retreats are holistic in nature. We want to guide our students and clients into the bliss of their own wholeness and integrity in all aspects. When we feel whole, we fell happy, joyous, peaceful, fulfilled and content, clarity emerges in all aspects of being and easiness and inner-peace becomes part of daily life. And this is the real reason for this project to exist in the first place!

 

To achieve this bliss we need to work not only the physical body but also the mind, the heart and the soul! And that's exactly what you'll get here!
